There is no playing strategy after the wager. The useful decision is choosing the bet—and recognizing when a commission or payout rule changes it.

Ties are excluded from Banker and Player win percentages above. A tie pushes those two wagers. The house edge already accounts for every outcome.

The lowest standard main-bet edge. The 5% commission is already included in the 1.058% figure.

Simple alternative

Player

Slightly more expensive than Banker, but with straightforward even-money settlement.

Tie and side bets

Headline payouts hide large differences. Treat every side bet as its own game.

Commission-free is not automatically better

“No commission” tables usually modify what happens when Banker wins with a particular total—often 6. That replacement rule must be analyzed directly. Removing visible commission does not remove the casino advantage.

Squeeze play does not change probability

Slowly revealing cards changes presentation, not the pre-deal distribution or drawing rules. Scorecards and trend boards describe past shoes; they do not make the next independent wager more favorable.

Probabilities and edges use the standard eight-deck drawing rules and standard 5% Banker commission. Variant tables require separate calculations.
